What Qualifies as a Verified Walkthrough
Short answer
A verified walkthrough is one the author actually completed, on a stated platform and game version, with steps re-checked after updates. Anything less is labeled as untested or removed.
Played, not paraphrased
A verified walkthrough starts with someone on the team playing the content themselves, beginning to end. We do not rewrite other sites' guides, summarize videos, or publish steps we have not run.
If a guide cannot be completed by our own testing, for example because the game is not out yet, it does not get published as a walkthrough at all.
Platform and version are part of the answer
Steps that work on one platform or patch can fail on another. Every tested guide states the platform and game version it was verified on, and that statement travels with the guide.
Verification expires
Games change. When an update lands, affected guides go back to untested status until someone re-runs them. A verified badge is a promise about a moment in time, and we would rather downgrade a guide than let it quietly rot.
